Hey guys :)

I know it's been some time but I'm having hell of a release going on here. So I just didn't came to check on what's wrong with the saving of final transforms. I finally made it so that I'm not there 7am to 10pm every day. This means: it's fixing time.

To provide you with an acceptable solution, I just reverted the behavior of FXes to the one of 15C. So that you at least get to use 64 bit plugins / scripts AND final xforms :lmao:

Here it is: download.xyrus-worx.org/apophy…
It's a patch so just replace the EXE files in your installation. If you didn't update yet, you can with this. In this case, you also just replace the EXE files. Remember the release notes from the original 15D package, though. It contains valuable information on how to use 64 bit plugins and compile multi-architecture plugins (32/64) from existing and new plugin code.

See you soon :)

This fixed the absence of the ability to run/edit/open scripts for me. Thank you so much!

I have been asking around about the old 32 bit plugins working in the 32 bit version of this Apophysis. Not able to get any real answeres if they are working for others but I know in my case the folder is set right now because I do see the 64 bit ons you sent me in the folder????? No other plugins are showing even though they are in the same folder?????

Well it is so, that the 32 bit version of Apophysis can only load the 32-bit plugins and the 64-bit version can only load the 64-bit plugins. If one of the versions doesn't load it's plugins, it's somehow misconfigured. I can tell for sure that the latest built of 7X - 15D (the one I released) loads the plugins properly in both versions.

I will check again. Is there a place I can send a screen shot or I maybe I could just upload it to my gallery.

In it you can see the 32 bit apo open with only the 64 bit plugins you sent me showing up. I can include the folder where the plugins are stored on the screen shot that also shows more than just the 64 bit plugins included. Some of those older plugins are ones I got from you like pre and post bubble wrap. In other words , I'm not trying to add some funky plugins that may not work on their own. All of these plugins work fine with Apo7X 15b.

The version I am trying out came from your fx fix update post.

I think you've done some great things with Apophysis. This bug was stopping me from trying to use this version. If you like I will give you any feedback of things I might notice while trying it out. I am assuming the 32 bit version also needs new 64 bit plugins because they did not show up in dropdown list? Any 64 bit plugins out there you know of just to give that a try? Thanks for all the effort you have put into this and I hope I can make at least of few fractals with it worthy of your efforts.

I have a set of legacy plugins emulating old/deceprated variations compiled for 32 and 64 bit versions of 7X15D - if that helps you? It's mainly there so you can edit old flames with 15D.

Thanks Xyrus, I would love to get any plugins into Apo7x showing up in the menu so I could build from there. I downloaded your fix for the Finalxform but it seems the exe for 32 bit and the one in the 64bit folder have exactly the same when I tried copying them to the same folder, maybe it is just the name only so I will try altering the names of the files and opening them.
